Reminder - Students sitting Leaving Cert exams must wear their school shirt/polo-shirt and school jumper for each exam. Given the fact that windows will be open for maximum ventilation students may wear tracksuit pants instead of their regular school pants/kilt if they wish. Students are not permitted to bring mobile phones in to the exam centre and are advised to leave all mobiles and smart devices at home. School phones are available for any student who needs to contact home before or after an exam. COVID-19 & State Examinations - Students intending to sit LC exams over the coming weeks are reminded that the following is crucial to ensuring that students who wish to sit exams are able to do so. You must not present for your examinations if you: • are diagnosed with COVID-19. • are unwell and have any of the symptoms of COVID-19. • develop COVID-19 symptoms at any stage over the course of the examinations. • are self-isolating or have been instructed to self-isolate. • are quarantining or otherwise restricting your movements. • are a close contact of a confirmed case. SEC have also asked schools to remind students that social contacts should be kept to a minimum both while in school for exams and when mixing/socialising outside of school.
